Superbike circuit racer iPhone · iPad · Android

Lean in. Own the line.

Knee slider on the asphalt, sparks at the edge of grip. Hold your phone like a pair of handlebars: tilt it to lean the bike, tip it forward for throttle, pull it back to brake. Nineteen science-fiction circuits, five superbikes, and real physics.

Gameplay. Circuit 1, Neon Meridian: the bike leans hard on the red-and-white kerb, the setting sun glowing between the skyscrapers at the end of the bend.

How it rides

Your phone is the handlebar

No virtual buttons to hunt for. The way you hold your phone or tablet leans the bike, opens the throttle and squeezes the brakes, and the bike answers with one grip budget, real weight transfer and real crashes.

  1. Hold it landscape

HyperLean plays in landscape on phones and tablets. Hold the device like a pair of handlebars.

  2. Three-step tilt setup

Hold it the way you like to play (sitting back, lying down, flat or upright), then lean right and tip forward once so the game learns your hands. Dead zone and smoothing are tuned for you.

  3. Lean in

Lower the right side to lean right, as if leaning a motorcycle into a bend. Tip the top edge away from you for throttle and pull it back toward you to brake. Small movements are enough.

  • Tilt to lean

Lean angle is grip spent. Hang off, get the knee down and watch the sparks fly off the slider.

  • Tip forward for throttle

Roll it on as the bike stands up. Too much too soon and the rear spins up or the front wheel lifts.

  • Pull back to brake

Brake hard while upright, then trail the brakes into the turn. Brakes and lean share the same grip.

  • Mind the track limits

Kerbs grip less, gravel punishes every mistake, and a lap beyond the track limits doesn't count.

Rather use your thumbs? Switch to touch steering in Settings for an on-screen stick, on the side of the screen you prefer: drag it to steer, accelerate and brake. The bike rides with identical physics either way.

The championship

Nineteen circuits, two to four laps

Fast, technical and original, each one teaching you before it tests you: switchbacks on Mars, a viaduct twisted into a Möbius loop, a black hole's photon ring banked at 75°, the HyperLean Grand Prix at night in a city of light, a spiral climb round the HyperLean tower, a circuit buried deep underground, and a grand oval of three banked right-handers ridden at top speed.

Features

Built for feel, timed to the thousandth

It rides like a real superbike

Your tyres have one grip budget, shared between the brakes and the lean angle. Brake hard while upright, then trail the brakes into the turn: cornering ABS stands the bike up a touch to keep you on the limit, not over it. Switch wheelie control off and a ham-fisted launch flips you over backwards; switch ABS off and the stoppies are all yours. The suspension visibly dives and squats, the rear spins up in smoke with traction control off, and in the wet your tyres throw up spray. A crash is a real crash: rider and bike slide off their separate ways, and the clock keeps running.

Circuit 14, Emerald Inferno: the bike leans along the kerb toward a glowing green arch, a dark pine forest and a green-and-violet aurora behind.

Duel Mode or Solo Mode

In Duel Mode a rival lines up on the grid beside you, on the same bike and electronics as yours, and fights you all the way to the flag. Hit it hard and you go down. Choose its skill:

  • Amateur
  • Pilot
  • Racer

Prefer the circuit to yourself? Solo Mode is just you, the clock and your ghost. Times, medals and records count exactly the same in both.

Time is the only judge

  • Sector splits against your best, lap after lap
  • Best laps, and the ghost of your best race to chase
  • A medal for every circuit, against its reference times
  • Every aid off? Your times carry the Pro badge
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum

Online leaderboards

Race and best-lap boards for every circuit, plus the free-chapter and full-championship boards. See the Top 100 or the riders around you, worldwide or in your country. Publishing is optional and yours to time, once every 24 hours, with no account.

Every race is re-simulated on the server before it counts, so every time on the board was really ridden. Tap a record to watch the race with the TV cameras, or challenge it as your ghost.

Electronics, your way

Traction control, wheelie control, slide control, ABS (standard or cornering) and engine braking, each adjustable in the Garage, or one of four presets:

  • Road
  • Track
  • Race
  • Pro

Every race, like on TV

Cross the line and watch it again as a broadcast rebuilt from your own inputs, with a director cutting between trackside cameras, or pick the helicopter, chase, onboard or tail cam. Pause, slow it down to ×¼, run it at ×2, jump anywhere in the race.

Then open photo mode: orbit the bike, set the field of view, tilt and exposure, add real panning motion blur, pick a filter and shoot.

Sound you can ride by

Each bike has its own voice, synthesised live, and your rival's engine is placed around you. Tunnels ring with real reverb. An original soundtrack has a theme for every circuit and builds as you pick up speed. Kerbs, impacts, the start lights and sector lines come through in vibration too.

Fourteen liveries for bike and rider

Six classic and eight futuristic. Ten are yours from the start; Prism Holo, Plasma Shell and Liquid Mercury come as you finish circuits, and Event Horizon when you finish them all. Every livery rides with identical physics.

  • Endurance Blue
  • Racing Green

Made to be played, not to watch you

No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no account and no sign-in. Your progress, records, ghosts and settings stay on your device. The only things that ever leave it are the races you choose to publish to the leaderboards and the check that your purchase is genuine. Published record races are public like the times: other riders can watch them and challenge them. Read the privacy policy.

Smooth on every device

Auto quality picks the right detail for your device and quietly adapts to its temperature and the circuit you are riding. Low to Ultra presets, a Battery Saver mode, and higher frame rates on screens that can show them evenly.

Fair and honest

US$6.99 is the price in the United States; in other countries the store shows the local price in your currency, which may differ and may include local taxes. The exact price is always shown by the store before you confirm. A purchase belongs to the store account used to buy it: buying on the App Store does not unlock the Android version, and buying on Google Play does not unlock the iOS version. Your times, medals and ghosts from circuits 1–4 stay yours either way.
